Brooke Hogan calls off engagement to NFL football player

Looks like Brooke Hogan is officially single again, and on the market ready to mingle.

According to TMZ, sources close to Brooke said, Hulk's daughter ended her engagement to NFL Dallas Cowboys center, Phil Costa, a few weeks ago. Costa proposed in Vegas, back in June, according to Mstars.

Back in happier times, Costa surprised his lady when he proposed to her at the Bellagio hotel in Las Vegas. "Happiest moment of my LIFE," Hogan wrote when she posted pictures on her Instagram account to announce the happy news. "I am marrying my best friend. I wouldn't choose anyone else. I am so lucky and so grateful."

TMZ was told, Brooke realized things had moved way too fast, too soon ... so she decided to call it quits and focus on her music -- before making things official forever. Hogan recently moved back to L.A. to put the finishing touches on her new album ... and she wanted to be closer to Momma Hogan.

As seen in the photo, Brooke posted on Instagram her ringless selfie, a few days ago. According to nydailynews.com,  her Twitter account has no mention of the split, on Sept. 22 she referenced her ex-fiancé when she noted the "Cowboys are riding the rams like they're little ponies." The Cowboys beat the St. Louis Rams 31-7 that day.

Looks like she won't have much trouble finding a rebound dude.
