Candlelight vigil held in memory of 'Fast and Furious' star, Paul Walker

It was nothing but silence, tears and the glow of candles, as fans of the Fast and Furious actor, Paul Walker paid their respects on Saturday night.

The fans of the Fast and Furious star, paid tribute to the 40-year old actor Saturday night by holding a candlelight vigil on the site where he died.

Fans showed up in Santa Clarita Saturday evening, leaving flowers, photos, notes to Walker and lighting candles in his memory.

LA Times , reports that fans like, George Ortiz, 56, of Valencia said he came to the site to pay tribute to one of his favorite actors. He said he's seen all of Walker's movies and that he reminded him of "a young Paul Newman."

"His roles always suited him perfectly because he was such a diverse actor," Ortiz said.

The vigil was held very shortly after law enforcement cleared the scene, removing the bodies of Paul and the driver Roger Rodas, as well as the charred wreckage of Roger's Porsche Carrera GT, according to TMZ.

The LAPD is still investigating the cause of the crash that killed actor Paul Walker on Saturday, according to the LA Times, and they are saying speed was a factor in the accident.

Witnesses told TMZ, Roger was speeding at the time. Sheriff's deputies confirm speed definitely played a part.

Walker and his co-stars were already in production to start filming for Fast and Furious 7, this week in Atlanta, the film is being slightly delayed due to the unexpected accident.

Fans are still pouring out in numbers attending the memorial in memory of a good man, gone to soon.
