The Walking Dead simply refuses to slow down in the ratings as Sunday's Season 4 midseason finale posted yet another gain over the same episode in Season 3. The AMC smash hit has had a ratings increase for every premiere and finale so far during its run, and Sunday's episode was no different.

The midseason finale, "Too Far Gone," amassed 12.1 million viewers, a 15 percent increase from the December finale of Season 3. The current season is averaging 13 million viewers, which marks a 29 percent increase from the first half of Season 3, and a 6.1 rating in the adults 18-49 demographic. The post-show The Talking Dead also had a record six million viewers on Sunday.

If you already can't wait for the show to return on Feb. 9, then perhaps the following spoilers that series creator Robert Kirkman told EW.com would tide you over until then:

"Yet you still have this open-ended question about the identity of the saboteur at the prison? Is that something we will get more clarity on in the back half of the season?
Yeah. Definitely. And I will say if you go back and look at the first half of the season, there are actually quite a bit of unanswered dangling little plot threads that we will be picking up with and resolving to a certain extent in the back half of season 4. I'm really pleased with how layered this season has been.

Okay, mister - where's Baby Judith?

Well, she's not in that car seat. I mean, there might be some of her in that car seat, but you know, the majority of her is not there. That's another big unknown that we'll have to find out about when we come back. She could be dead. She could be maimed. She could be fine. We'll just have to find out."

Kirkman also said that the group might not be reunited as quickly as they were at the end of Season 2 or possibly at all.
