Miley Cyrus, Jennifer Lawrence beef? Twerking songstress 'mad as hell' at 'Hunger Games Catching Fire' starlet for 'sex sells' diss, jealous over Liam Hemsworth?

Good thing Miley Cyrus isn't a member of the "Hunger Games" - Jennifer Lawrence would probably be in big trouble! Allegedly...

Back in November, Lawrence said that she found the over-sexualization of young women in the media totally disgusting. Basically a direct hit at Liam Hemsworth's ex-fiancee. As Mstars previously reported:

Jennifer Lawrence has a pretty good relationship with "Hunger Games" co-star Liam Hemsworth. And apparently, the 23-year-old actress is NOT a fan of Hemsworth's ex-lover, Miley Cyrus.

Okay, so Lawrence didn't specifically diss the "Wrecking Ball" songstress, but she does find the over-sexualization of young women in the media totally disgusting. And which pop starlet personifies that raunchy over-sexualization better than 20-year-old Miley?

During the "Hunger Games: Catching Fire" movie premiere in London on Nov. 11, Lawrence was interviewed about such raucaus celebrity behavior (specifically Cyrus') on the red carpet. The Academy Award winner told BBC's Newsnight, "It is a part of the entertainment industry that sells. Sex sells, and for some disgusting reason young sex sells even more."

The "Silver Linings Playbook" beauty continued, "For some people, that's how they feel best, that's how they feel sexy." But not for Lawrence. She insists that she will make "conscious decisions" to be a better role model for young girls, considering the "Hunger Games" film franchise targets a younger audience.

"I think [Katniss Everdeen] a wonderful role model for young girls. I'm happy that they have a character like that," she said.

Apparently, Cyrus is pissed.

"Miley feels like Jennifer always tries to act like a feminist in all her interviews, but then poses in a revealing dress to promote her film," a supposed HEAT source reveals (via HollywoodLife). "That seems so fake to her. Miley's mad as hell. She thinks Jen is such a hypocrite; she basically wears nothing but body paint in X-Men - how is that not using sex to sell? And then, she was all over Liam on the red carpet."

Perhaps Miley is even... jealous?

"Liam kept telling Miley how great Jennifer was, so that got her back up," the insider continues. "Then, when they met, Miley felt like Jennifer focused all her attention on Liam and made no effort with her... Miley always suspected that Jennifer didn't like her, and she suspected that she would side with Liam over her. These pictures of them getting so close have made her see red."

Looks like these two Hollywood beauties won't be hanging-out anytime soon!
