Reports confirm that Bill Beckwith, co-host of the popular HGTV home-improvement show "Curb Appeal," died in a tragic motorcycle accident in San Francisco on Monday (Dec. 2). Beckwith was 38-year-old. Following his death, Beckwith's longtime girlfriend Yulia Korneeva posted a touching tribute on a Facebook "in memoriam" fan-page.

Details surrounding the crash still remain unknown, but according to the San Francisco Chronicle, Beckwith was riding a motorcycle in the city's Lower Haight neighborhood at around 8:30 p.m. when he was suddenly struck by a vehicle. He was promptly transported to San Francisco General Hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Before joining the cast of the hit home-makeover show "Curb Appeal," Beckwith founded the successful construction firm BBDesignBuild in 2001:

"The HGTV family is deeply saddened by Bill's tragic death and we mourn his loss along with his many family and friends who will miss his creativity, adventurous spirit and general love of life," the show said in an e-mail to CNN on Wednesday.

"Curb Appeal" also posted this statement on its official Facebook page on Tuesday:

"Bill was truly a beloved and respected member of our Curb Appeal family and this loss is devastating to us... We send our deepest and most sincere condolences to Bill's family."

Fans continue posting their condolences on the Billy J Beckwith, Superstar Facebook page. Beckwith's girlfriend wrote:

"My love: so kind, so bright, adventurous and strong. You are loved by so many good people! I wish you could stay with us for way longer."

RIP, Bill Beckwith.

On Saturday (Nov. 30), actor Paul Walker died in a tragic car crash in Southern California.
