According to the L.A. County Coroner's Office, Paul Walker's tragic death was caused by combined effects of traumatic and thermal injuries sustained from the actor's deadly car crash in Southern California on Saturday, November 30.

The Coroner's Office announced Walker's official autopsy on Wednesday (Dec. 4).

The 40-year-old "Varsity Blues" star was the sole passenger in a Porsche GT driven by longtime friend Roger Rodas when the crash occurred. According to the report, Rodas died on impact and the fire did not contribute to his death.

Walker's traumatic injuries were sustained on impact and the burn injuries were a result of the fire that erupted after the explosion.

Both men were positively identified by dental records. Their deaths have been ruled an accident, and a toxicology report is expected in six to eight weeks.

Reports confirm that flames didn't erupt until 60-seconds after the initial crash impact.

Meanwhile, investigators looking into what caused the high-speed accident.
