Despite plenty of hype and rumors building around the sequel to 2013's The Wolverine, it turns out star Hugh Jackman isn't completely on board with the idea. Although he is working on the project with director James Mangold, the actor isn't sure about making a sequel to his latest film. Is he tired of the character or is he worried that this sequel could ruin the integrity of the current film?

This news comes just about a week after Mangold hinted about the progress of the script. Click HERE to read more on that!

Unfortunately for Mangold, it looks like Jackman is a little less excited about the project. While talking to Vanity Fair, the Oscar-nominated actor shared his concern in regards to the project.

"I don't know whether or not I will do this next movie," he admitted. I am really proud of this movie and I am excited to develop something with Jim Mangold from the beginning because that is a great ride. That's exciting, to see what we come up with but I have a very high expectation of what it would need to be [for me to star in it] and if it doesn't reach those, I won't be doing it."

So what about the script that Mangold was talking about last week?

"No there is not [a script] but Jim Mangold and I were literally on the phone last night talking about ideas," Jackman said. "But there is no script and no writer yet so it's a way off."

Do you think this sequel will get off the ground?
