Noel Gallagher was asked by Rolling Stone to talk about the year in music for some reason.  However, motives aren't important when you get what might be the truest bit of criticism ever levied at Arcade Fire, whose album Reflektor dropped to rave reviews earlier this year.

When RS asked Gallagher for his opinion of the new album, the Oasis member lashed out at the band for its grandeur.

"I haven't heard it ," he said. "Anybody that comes back with a double album, to me, needs to pry themselves out of their own a--hole. This is not the Seventies, okay? Go and ask Billy Corgan about a double album. Who has the f---ing time, in 2013, to sit through 45 minutes of a single album? How arrogant are these people to think that you've got an hour and a half to listen to a f---ing record?"

Gallagher was equally unkind to Arcade Fire's controversial concert dress code.

"Well, what's the point of that? Do you know what the point of that is?" he asked. "That is to take away from the sh-t disco that's coming out of the speakers. Because everybody's dressed as one of the Three Musketeers on acid."

Gallagher then proceeded to mock interview folks who;d just left an Arcade Fire concert. Gallagher would ask their opinion and they all answered with what they dressed up as. Check out the whole interview below:

It looks like Liam's not the only one who's prone to angrily taking the piss.
