Funnyman Jason Bateman of Arrested Development and Horrible Bosses is making his directorial debut with a big statement: Bad Words. Quite literally in the new red band trailer, there are plenty of bad words and off-color jokes that make some cringe and others laugh. Yahoo! Movies was the first to premiere the video which is extremely NSFW (Not Safe For Work -- to be clear).

In the film, Bateman's character Guy Trilby is a 40 year-old who has found a loophole in being able to complete against children in the national spelling bee. He never passed the eighth grade. The crude humor appears to be stuck in middle school, too, but with an extra level of adult wit. After all, the film is for adults. Trilby forms an unlikely relationship with a fellow competitor, 10-year old Chaitanya (actor Rohan Chand, appearing in Showtime's Homeland).

The cast is rounded out by hilarious actresses Rachel Harris and Allison Janney. Kathryn Hahn plays the reporter who's trying to bust Trilby. You've seen Hahn in many a funny movie and television show, from Parks and Recreation to Wanderlust.

Bateman is currently filming Horrible Bosses 2 with the all-star cast: Jason Sudeikis, Chris Pine and Jennifer Aniston. He is also lined up to direct and star in The Family Fang. It will be an adaptation of the bestselling novel by Kevin Williams. Nicole Kidman's company bought the rights to it and she will play across from Bateman in the film. Bateman has a lot on the horizon, and Bad Words is what's ready to be seen next.

WARNING: This trailer is for those 17 years and older and is NSFW.
