Actor James Gandolfini passed away this past summer, and his colleagues have come together to share their memories of him with the world. This Sunday, December 22nd, HBO will run "James Gandolfini: Tribute to a Friend." The below promo features actors such as fellow Sopranos co-stars Tony Sirico and Edie Falco.

"All my greatest memories involve all of us being out of control laughing," Edie Falco says. "And Jim was always at the heart of it," she adds.

"He was a good man. He just happened to be a brilliant, brilliant actor," Tony Sirico says.

Former Cinema Verite costar Diane Lane also takes part in the tribute. "The only thing the surprised me was his sex appeal. In person, he's, you know..." Lane laughs. The HBO drama film Cinema Verite was released in 2011 with Tim Robbins.

Aside from being highly respected and adored by his friends, family and castmates, Gandolfini contributed to larger charitable efforts in his country. He was very involved in the Wounded Warrior project, which supports injured service members in the nation. In October, the Carry Forward Awards created a James Gandolfini Award in his honor. The first award went to Gandolfini's colleague Tony Sirico. The honor is for a figure in the public who demonstrates the Wounded Warrior Project's values as Gandolfini has.

Gandolfini's father received a Purple Heart from World War 2. Gandolfini later gave veterans a place to share their stories with the documentaries Wartorn and Alive Day Memories.

And now, HBO is giving Gandolfini a space for people to share their sentiments about him. Watch the tribute this Sunday at 8:30 p.m. Eastern, and a sneak peak of the program in the promo:
