Breaking news: Part of The Apollo Theatre has collapsed in London, according to the New York Daily News. This collapse is said to have happened in the middle of a performance of "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime" around 8:15 p.m. this evening in England. The top tier balcony "is considered to be the steepest in London" and there are casualties, though no number on it yet.

While the Daily News reports the balcony was part of the collapse, CNN says the Metropolitan Police reported a ceiling collapse. Other sources call it a roof collapse. One audience member spoke to ITV, saying:

"It was a seaside scene, but then there was a lot of crashing noise and part of the roof caved in. There was dust everywhere, everybody's covered in dust."

The Theatre holds up to 775 people. Recent reports say some people are still trapped inside. Emergency crews have already arrived on scene.

Stay tuned for updated information.
