Pals and musical, comedy duo, Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake, took over Saturday Night Live last night, and they didn't disappoint. With a lot of history together, both on SNL and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, the Christmas episode gave the people what they wanted, both with new skits and some throwbacks to what we've seen before.

The opening of the show had Timberlake dressed as a roll of wrapping paper and Fallon in a giant gift bag. They sang and danced, "Bring it on down to Wrappingville," trying to get customers to pay for their packages to be adorned. It was a reference to Timberlake's previous bit on the show, Omletville.

Many celebrities showed up in cameos during the show, like Paul McCartney during Fallon's monologue. They sang "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" together after Fallon displayed his beloved impressions of the Beatle, David Bowie and Bob Dylan.

Fallon kept it together for most of the show, but as he often did back during his days as a cast member, he broke at one point. It was during a Family Fued skit, in which he was playing Jim Parsons from The Big Bang Theory and Timberlake played Fallon himself in a CBS vs. NBC episode. At one point Fallon hid behind his podium to hide his laughter.

Of course, as predicted, The Barry Gibbs Talk Show was part of the episode. Only this time, Madonna showed up and the real Barry Gibbs joined the two at the end of the bit to sing the show's theme song.

Timberlake sang "Only When I Walk Away," surrounded by a pretty intense laser light show, and later he was backed by full string accompaniment for "Pair of Wings."

Other highlights included Fallon and Michael Bloomberg discussing on Weekend Update what's next for them as they leave their current jobs. Fallon officially "handed the baton" over to Seth Meyers, who will be taking over Late Night. Fallon played a gay Ebeneezer Scrooge in a reenactment of A Christmas Carol, and a slew of hilariously terrible songs were featured in the commercial for NOW That's What I Call Christmas.

The night was a success. Watch the last night's version of The Barry Gibb Talk Show below.
