Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has not introduced too many superpowered people in its first 10 episodes, but that appears to be changing with the introduction of a particularly frosty villain in the show's 12th episode entitled "Seeds."

Marvel.com posted an article to reveal that Donnie Gill would appear in the episode, which airs Tuesday, Jan. 14. Devout Marvel fans may recognize Gill as the real name of the Iron Man villain named Blizzard who, as one might expect, uses ice powers to cause some trouble. Dylan Minnette (who stars in the film Labor Day) will play Gill in the episode.

In the comics, Gill/Blizzard is thug whom Justin Hammer hires. He gives Gill a cryogenic suit to wreak some havoc in Iron Man's world. Fans likely remember that Sam Rockwell played Justin Hammer, the head of Stark Industries' kinda-sorta rival company, in Iron Man 2. Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) sent him to jail at the end of the film.

It's unlikely that Rockwell would return as Hammer in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., but there are numerous ways that the show could get the Blizzard suit onto Gill. A team of Hammer's men could have continued his work, or maybe the suit somehow finds its way out onto the black market or into the public sphere. Regardless, it seems that the show is starting to incorporate more elements of the movies into its story.

Marvel's official description for the episode reads:

"Coulson and May uncover startling information about Skye's past, while the team is swept into a storm at S.H.I.E.L.D. Academy."
