Snoop Lion - Smoke The Weed

When Snoop Dogg first announced his reggae album Reincarnated (along with a name change to Snoop Lion), most of us expected an album that stereotyped the entire reggae genre down to a love of Snoop's favorite plant. While Reincarnated wasn't good, it mostly avoided this trap. We say mostly because their is the matter of "Smoke The Weed," a song which Snoop has chosen as the album's next single.

Snoop, who is currently in the middle of promoting his new album with Dam-Funk 7 Days Of Funk, stars in the Collie Buddz assisted track that compares growing weed with children's futures over a beat that would sound right at home playing over a shot of someone's dirty room in a straight-to-DVD stoner comedy. 

The video consists of Snoop blowing smoke and pictures of weed and cars and weed pics and hanging with friends and pictures of weed.
