Yuck release new music video for 'Glow & Behold' track 'Somewhere'

If there's one thing you can say about shoegaze revivalists Yuck, it's that they know how to match their music videos to the tracks they accompany.

"Lose My Breath" could have very well come from an Adventures Of Pete & Pete compilation cassette, and the aesthetics of the (initially) cute video reflected that. The follow-up single is a spacious bit of meandering, droning soul-searching and few places illustrate the song's sense of drift better than an airport.

Of course, in truth, you can say far more than one thing about Yuck. The band is composed of survivors, for one. They've moved on seemingly unscathed from the departure of their vocalist and main songwriter to produce their second album Glow & Behold. Another point that can be made is obvious to anyone who has listened to the album: Yuck are really, really good.
