Miley Cyrus is not at all apologetic for introducing the former champion of promise rings Joe Jonas to weed. In a recent interview, the pop provacateur (and frequent marijuana advocate) defended her decision using a classic bit of "he's his own man" logic.

"If you want to smoke weed, you're going to smoke weed," Cyrus told the New York Times. "There's nothing that two little girls are going to get you to do that you don't want to do... We were so young that it's actually like, 'How did you get peer pressured by me?'"

Cyrus continued to seem completely aware of her place in the culture. There is nothing, it seems, that the former Hannah Montana star does that is anything less than intentional.

"There's a sex scene in pretty much every single movie, and they go, "Well, that's a character." Well,[my stage performance is] a character. I don't really dress as a teddy bear and, like, twerk on Robin Thicke, you know?" she said.

Miley also took the time to address claims that her performances are sexist, degrading and racist, using an anecdote about her grandma who grew up in the pre-Civil Rights Act South and saying that culture will move beyond caring about race.

"So, you know, I look forward to when I'm older, my kids being like, "What do you mean people ever even talked about what color your dancers were?" she said.

For those that long for the Miley news of old (read: early 2013), we have some relationship rumors for you. Cyrus has recently been attached to Mike Will Made It and former fiance Liam Hemsworth's friend, Kellan Lutz
