Freed Pussy Riot members' first interview is terrible, insane

The last two members of Russian feminist protest group/punk band Pussy Riot were freed from prison earlier this week after serving nearly two years for hooliganism. Of course, the first person who should get a chance to talk to the women is the Russian equivalent of Paris Hilton. Socialite Ksenia Sobchak interviewed Nadya Tolokonnikova and Masha Alyokhina and asked the hard-hitting questions...like "how much is the Pussy Riot brand worth?"

R.I.P., Journalism.

A recap of the interview's more ridiculous moments:

-After the aforementioned brand question, Sobchak compared Pussy Riot to the AK-47, calling it a "global Russian brand." Nadya replied that she didn't think talking about a brand was "interesting."

-Sobchak asked the women if it bothered them that people disagreed with their actions, even if they supported PR's cause. Masha responded, "We don't do things so people will like it, we do things to make people think, and I think we more than succeeded."

-When Masha was asked if she received less media attention than Nadya because Nadya is more attractive, she replied "When I was sitting in solitary in prison in Berezniki, I wasn't thinking about [beauty] ratings."

- The real winner has to be Sobchak's line of questioning about the Winter Olympics, though. She asks the women if they had any plans to disrupt the upcoming games, the women kept quiet. Then, Sobchak proceeded to ask two women who had just spent almost two years in prison for angering the government "What are you afraid of?"
