The Pittsburgh Penguins vs. the New Jersey Devils battle it out on the ice at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ on New Year's Eve - Tuesday, December 31 at 1:00 p.m. EST. Read on to see where fans can watch and listen to a live stream of the last hockey game of 2013 online and catch up-to-date feeds and coverage on highlight plays and scores.

The Penguins currently snag the no. 7 spot Dave Lozo's NHL power ranking for Bleacher Report with a 29-11-1 record:

Recent Trend: They are an unstoppable force in the East. They are 14-2 in their past 16, so they've been stopped twice, but that's about it. They've also done a lot of that damage with an injury-riddled defense corps and key offensive guys out as well.

Big Picture: Everyone in the East is chasing the Penguins, and that will likely be the case throughout the season.

By the Numbers: Since returning from a five-game suspension for kneeing the head of Boston's Marc Savard, left wing James Neal has four goals and six assists in five games.

Meanwhile, the Devils hold the no. 14 spot with a 16-16-8 record:

Recent Trend: The Devils aren't on fire by any stretch, but they are accumulating points. In their past seven games, they are 4-1-2.

Big Picture: They are beginning to get healthy, as Bryce Salvador and Ryane Clowe rejoined the lineup last week. They remain in contention for the final spot in the muddled Metropolitan.

By the Numbers: Goaltender Cory Schneider has received little to no support this season. In 18 games, the Devils have scored 30 goals, an average of 1.67 per game.

The game will be broadcasted live on NHLC, ROOT, and MSG+, but fans can also listen in on the radio at 105.9 The X, 970 ESPN, and WFAN 660.
