Brock Lesnar made his return to WWE television last night on the Dec. 30, 2013 edition of WWE's Monday Night Raw. He and his manager, Paul Heyman, announced that Lesnar would go after the winner of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match between Randy Orton and John Cena at Royal Rumble on Jan. 26. But will Lesnar actually compete on the pay-per-view or in the Rumble match itself?

F4WOnline.com reports that WWE had some early-stage plans for Lesnar's return before the Royal Rumble, and his return has now raised questions if he would fight in a singles match at the pay-per-view or if he would participate mainly in the 30-man Royal Rumble match. According to the report, rumors have circulated that WWE wants Brock Lesnar to face Big Show at the pay-per-view. Those plans could have been scrapped by now, but the expectation is that Lesnar's storyline for the Royal Rumble will come into focus possibly as early as next week.

WWE has also posted the following video of an interview between Michael Cole and Paul Heyman, who addresses Lesnar's return and confirms that The Beast will appear at "Old School Raw" next week:

Speaking of "Old School Raw," the list of confirmed Legends returning for the event includes Ric Flair, Rikishi, Scotty 2 Hotty, The New Age Outlaws, Rowdy Roddy Piper, Diamond Dallas Page, Booker T, Bob Backlund, Ted DiBiase Sr., Mean Gene Okerlund and Irwin R. Schyster.

Who would you like to see Brock Lesnar face at Royal Rumble, or would you rather he compete in the 30-man Rumble match? Let us know in the comments below.
