We recently reported that Cameron Diaz would be releasing The Body Book: The Law of Hunger, the Science of Strength, and Other Ways to Love Your Amazing Body this New Year's Eve. Diaz features photographs of women across all different body types, which she took herself. She also interviewed diverse women for research on this book about wellness.

Getting the most attention so far is a chapter entitled "In Praise of Pubes." GossipCop reports that Diaz calls permanent laser hair removal down there a "crazy idea." Why?

She writes: "I know you may think you'll be wearing the same style of shoes forever and the same style of jeans forever, but you won't. She calls "the hairless state" a fad..."and all fads change, people," Diaz says.

Diaz goes on to make her case for hair, calling it a "pretty dressing," that's "mysterious" and can "entice a lover." She also makes a joke that many years from now, women may want to cover a little more up when they see how gravity has made their body change.

Diaz is currently tweeting at her fans who are already excited to devour the book. There is even a twitter account dedicated solely to the book: @TheBodyBook.

Weeks ago she was sharing a picture of her first copy with a fresh, makeup-less face.

Final thoughts on the laser hair removal debate: "Twenty years from now, you will still want to be presenting it to someone special, and it would be nice to let him or her unwrap it like the gift that it is," Diaz writes.

She has a busy year ahead, playing Ms. Hannigan in the upcoming Annie film. There is also the release of The Other Woman, which Diaz has the starring role in. You can watch the hilarious trailer with Nicki Minaj, Leslie Mann and Kate Upton here.
