The 100th episode of Parks and Recreation is set to air on Jan. 9, which is certainly cause for celebration. But sadly, the episode finds Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler) officially wrapping up her job as City Councilwoman.

We all know that Knope will inevitably find a way to be involved with her community, even if she's stepping down from a position she was extraordinarily passionate about, and of course she has her husband Ben (Adam Scott) by her side. The 100th episode will reveal how Knope deals with the transition, and it will address the exciting news about whether Ann (Rashida Jones) and Chris (Rob Lowe) are having a baby boy or girl.

Entertainment Weekly has offered an exclusive video clip from the upcoming episode. It starts with Ben's supportive effort to hire a singing telegram for his wife to console her after she's been fired. He, thankfully, quickly retracts his idea for it to be a sad, slow song, potentially from the Requiem For A Dream soundtrack.

Also, a new fun term, "tex-mexting," is revealed during a press conference addressing yet another sex scandal for City Councilman Dexhart, covered by honorable newsman Perd Hapley. This curious phrase is going to be big, so make sure you watch the clip and find out exactly what that means.

The 100th episode of Parks and Recreation is an exciting landmark for the show. On Jan. 9, the show will air at 8:30 p.m. on NBC. Watch the exclusive clip for the episode below.
