To some, seeing the great Hov perform live is a once in a lifetime experience and they'll do just about anything to make sure they're in attendance. And we do mean anything.

Just last month, a Houston man nearly lost his life trying to sell Jay Z concert tickets to two perspective buyers.

According to Concrete Loop, the man posted an ad for the tickets on Craigslist. After interacting with the interested party, the unidentified man agreed to meet up with the potential buyers. They met at a Starbucks in Durham, Texas on December 15, 2013.

The unsuspecting man showed up with his girlfriend and was called outside due to there being an infant child in the car. That's when things went downhill.

While leaning through the car window to show the women the tickets, 20-year-old Cessica Darden attempted to grab them and the driver, 20-year-old Denitra Green, hit the gas pedal and tried to effortlessly speed away.

Reports indicate that Green kept going, while Darden repeatedly kicked the victim who was still hanging on to the door handle.

Investigators say the man begged them to stop as they sped down Durham. He finally lost his grip and fell. The vehicle ran over him and kept going with Darden's baby in the back seat. The victim was hospitalized with several broken bones, crushed fingers and severe road rash on his face and body.

Police arrested both women at the Jay Z concert in Houston on December 19th. Green was held on a $30,000 bond and charged with aggravated robbery. Darden is not in custody.
