Now that Marvel has officially announced that Paul Rudd will portray the titular superhero in the Ant-Man movie in 2015, the fun period of speculation and rumor has begun. In that vein, director Edgar Wright has made a post on his blog that could reveal a key plot point of the movie, or it could mean absolutely nothing at all.

Wright went on his blog and posted a photo from the cartoon The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. The tease in question comes from the episode "To Steal an Ant-Man" and Wright simply captioned it "Homework." The picture shows Scott Lang stealing Ant-Man's iconic helmet from Dr. Hank Pym after the latter (the original Ant-Man) decides to retire from The Avengers.

As always, this dish is served with a grain of salt. Wright could have just felt like putting up the photo because he thought it was cool, or maybe he wanted to misdirect everyone deliberately. But there are a few pieces of evidence to support the theory that Ant-Man will have Lang, not Pym, as its titular character.

Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige told IGN that Wright originally pitched the Ant-Man film as a "heist movie," and that aspect in particular made Marvel enthusiastic about it. He later restated that Ant-Man would fall into the heist category.

So if the head of Marvel Studios describes a theft, and the director describes a theft, then maybe there's going to be a theft. But then again, Pym could still be the main character, and Lang's theft of the Ant-Man costume could just be something he has to deal with in the course of the movie.

What do you think, fans? Will Scott Lang or Hank Pym be the focus of Ant-Man? Let us know in the comments below.
