It looks as if poor ol' Raj might finally catch a break in his love life when The Big Bang Theory airs its Valentine's Day episode next month.

A reader of the "Ask Ausiello" column at TVLine asked if the hit CBS sitcom intends to bring back Kate Micucci as Lucy, Raj's girlfriend from Season 6. There's bad news on that front, but there could be something better coming up quickly for the astrophysicist. Check it out:

"Question: Any plans for The Big Bang Theory to bring back Lucy? I'm still convinced she's the one for Raj. -Kelly
Ausiello: No plans that I know of, but check this out: The show is casting the potentially recurring role of Yvette, a cute and somewhat surly veterinarian who ends up taking care of Raj's dog Cinnamon. And this all goes down in next month's Valentine's episode. You thinkin' what I'm thinkin'? Bonus Scoop: As we teased in our Winter Spoiler-palooza, comic/actor Brian Posehn reprises his role as Raj's pal Burt in this Thursday's episode. 'Amy realizes that Burt has a crush on her,' reveals EP Steve Molaro. 'And [Howard and Raj] help her navigate that.'"

Raj has been a real sad sack of a character (second only to Stuart, which explains why they get along so well), and his numerous attempts at finding a woman have failed in a variety of fashions. But now that he can talk to women (even if he is far from a ladies man), maybe this is his chance at happiness.

What do you think? Will Raj finally land a woman? And who should play the girl in question? Let us know in the comments below.
