As expected, WWE's major announcement on Wednesday night from Las Vegas was the reveal of the WWE Network, the first 24/7 streaming network.

WWE owner Vince McMahon, Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon, Chief Operating Officer Paul Levesque aka Triple H, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels and John Cena were all on hand for the big announcement.. The company unveiled the price, release date and numerous features of the network on the live stream at 9:30 p.m. EST.

The WWE Network launches on Monday, Feb. 24 and will require a monthly subscription of $9.99. Customers must also sign up for a six-month initial commitment.

The WWE Network will feature 24/7 streaming content that will include all 12 of the company's annual pay-per-views, including WrestleMania. Every historical WWE, WCW and ECW pay-per-view will be available at launch, as will every episode of Monday Night Raw, Friday Night Smackdown, NXT, Superstars and more.

The network will also feature other original programming, including new pre-shows and post-shows for the weekly episodes of Raw and Smackdown, along with Legends House and a show dedicated to the Monday Night Wars between WWE and WCW.

WWE has posted the following video demonstration of the network to give fans a taste of what they can expect when it launches in less than two months:
