John Mayer Has the 'Hots' for 'Girl on Fire' Jennifer Lawrence

"The Hunger Games" star, Jennifer Lawrence, has caught the eye of well-known womanizing celebrity. Apparently, the popular singer has the hots for the "Girl on Fire" that all the stops are being pulled.

Who is this Hollywood celeb making all the moves on Lawrence? Well, the celebrity is none other than John Mayer.

The 34-year old singer has had a reputation for being a womanizer. From openly talking about exes to making bitter comments on them, John Mayer has reportedly done them all. A few "burned out" women included in Mayer's list are Jessica Simpson, Taylor Swift and Jennifer Aniston. It appears that John Mayer seems to have the liking for the name Jennifer on his targets. The singer has got his eye set on rising star, Jennifer Lawrence.

How and where did the two even manage to meet? Well, having a group of friends hitting up the Medieval Times was certainly the best way to catch John Mayer's attention despite the crowd. Reports have spotted the two casually hitting up a conversation and Mayer was pulling out all the flirty stops. Ironically, Lawrence had fell for the bait and appeared to be "a little nervous" around Mayer.

"She kept giggling and covering her mouth. It was cute," says one eyewitness.

"John was eying-up Jennifer like he was a dog and she was a juicy pork chop! When he lays on the charm he lays it on real thick!," continued to eyewitness. Still, Mayer tried to be the perfect gentleman throughout the night.

"He's really well read, so he kept using his knowledge of the Medieval era to make puns and crack everyone up. He was even putting on an English accent at times and ordering 'beer-eth.' And apparently, that worked. Jennifer thought he was a riot. It was like a freshman having a crush on the captain of the football team," explained the source.

This was not the first time Jennifer Lawrence and John Mayer have been linked. Both stars were spotted shopping in Los Angeles with "New Girl" Zooey Deschanel. Even then, Mayer already had the hots for Lawrence. Sources say Mayer could not "take his eyes" of Jennifer and looked totally "smitten."

Though it's too bad for Mayer, Lawrence is currently dating British actor, Nicholas Hoult for a period of two years. Dedication and patience are two characteristics Nicholas Hoult has that Mayer just doesn't have when it comes to women.
