Kerry Washington growing baby bump and husband Nnamdi Asomugha attend Golden Globes, 'Scandal's' Olivia Pope will not be pregnant

Kerry Washington finally revealed her own "semi-scandal" at the annual 71^st Golden Globes award show when she finally flaunted her baby bump in a Balenciaga gown made to accentuate her pregnancy.

"I feel he designed it more for this bump, which I'm really happy with," she told NBC on the red carpet.

The actress's baby bump wasn't the only surprise she brought with her; the glowing mother-to-be was spotted having fun with her husband, Nnamdi Asomugha at the Weinstein Company and Netflix after-party at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

Although rumors of "Scandal" producers incorporating Washington's pregnancy in her character's (Olivia Pope) storyline, she denied any baby action on the show and admitted to "Extra's" Mario Lopez that costume designer Lyn Paolo is dressing her to hide the bump for the show, "I don't want to give up too much information, but it's going great!" she added, "We're handling it, as Olivia Pope, would say ... (Lyn Paolo) and I are having a really good time in keeping the fashion elevated, but still making room for this little human."

According to Life & Style magazine, "Scandal's not planning to work Kerry Washington's pregnancy into the show."

The 36-year-old actress is expecting her first child with her NFL athlete husband, Nnamdi Asomugha. According to Us Weekly broke the news and confirmed the couples' pregnancy saying, "She's about four months along."

Washington has kept her pregnancy a secret after her very quiet wedding to Asomugha in July, in which she was adamant to keep the news quiet. In a recent panel discussion the actress explained that it was hard for her to keep her marriage a secret, but she wanted to keep her personal life private "I hate keeping secrets; that is the worst thing for me, because I always want to talk about it. I am really private about my personal life." She added, "I try to be really naked emotionally in my work, and I am not holding back at all when it comes to my work. I am giving all that I can in my work....So my work belongs to everyone-because that's the choice I made-and my life belongs to me."
