CBS' hit sitcom The Big Bang Theory has had no shortage of fantastic guest stars in its six-plus seasons thus far. The list ranges from Bob Newhart to Leonard Nimoy to Stan Lee and more. But the show is about to go to a galaxy far, far away with its newest additions.

TVLine first reported exclusively that The Big Bang Theory, the highest rated and most watched comedy on television, has landed Star Wars alumni James Earl Jones, who famously voiced Darth Vader, and Carrie Fisher, who played Princess Leia, for a Season 7 episode. Executive producers Steve Molaro and Bill Prady broke the news to TVLine on the red carpet of the Golden Globes on Sunday.

According to the site, the two actors will play themselves in the episode and will cross paths with Sheldon (Jim Parsons) during the half hour. Begin the theories below as to how Dr. Cooper will mess up this meeting.

Jones has previously appeared on television in guest-starring roles on House, Two and a Half Men (in which he also played himself) and Everwood. Fisher has made guest stops on 30 Rock, Entourage and Weeds and also provides the voice of Angela, the employee at the Pawtucket Brewery, on Family Guy.

As MStars previously reported, The Big Bang Theory broke its own ratings record for its largest 8 p.m. audience ever with 20.7 million viewers last Thursday (the show had previously set a series-high in Jan. 2013). It also moved upward two-tenths of a point to hit a 5.6 rating in the coveted adults 18-49 demographic.

How do you think Sheldon will meet the two Star Wars actors, and how will it go wrong? Let us know in the comments below.
