MStars previously reported that TVLine noted in its "Ask Ausiello" column that the hit CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory was "casting the potentially recurring role of Yvette, a cute and somewhat surly veterinarian who ends up taking care of Raj's dog Cinnamon." Now, the show has found its actress.

TVLine first reported exclusively that former Lost actress Tania Raymonde would play Yvette, who will serve as a new romantic interest for Raj (Kunal Nayyar), who has been extremely unlucky in love. He can now talk to women, but even that has not been enough for the poor guy to successfully strike up a relationship, or even a conversation, with a woman. But perhaps his precious dog's sickness would be the event that pushes Raj to be able to flirt successfully.

This plot will also play out during the show's Valentine's Day episode next month, which could mean good things for Raj with love in the air. Knowing how The Big Bang Theory works, Raj will probably bring Cinnamon into the vet's office, make a fool of himself for the better part of the episode and then win her over at the end.

Raymonde has recently appeared in Chicago Fire, 90210 and Switched at Birth, along with movie roles in Texas Chainsaw 3D and Blue Like Jazz.

What do you think, Big Bang Theory fans? Do you like Raymonde as a potential love interest for Raj? Do you think he'll actually pull it off this time? Let us know in the comments below.
