American Horror Story: Coven, the third season of Ryan Murphy's acclaimed but bizarre horror show, is winding down with its final few episodes. This season has been set in the present day in New Orleans, though all the voodoo and flashbacks have given it an older feel. Fans, of course, could not help but wonder where and when Murphy would set the next season of his show, and now the creator has revealed that information.

Murphy told EW.com exclusively:

"It's set in 1950. If you look historically what happened in the year 1950, there's some more clues in that year. It's a period piece. We try and do the opposite of what we've done before. Jessica Lange has already started practicing her German accent so I'm very excited!"

Let's see. 1950...German accent...yeah, I've got nothing.

As usual, Murphy plans to scatter some small clues about the plot of next year's installments into the final episodes of Coven. He's done this in the past on American Horror Story, so this year should be no different. In Season 1, Vivian Harmon (Connie Britton) went to a mental hospital briefly, which was a clue for Season 2, Asylum.

As MStars previously reported, Jessica Lange will not return after Season 4, so get your fill of the powerhouse actress while you can before she departs the AHS family for good.

What do you think, AHS fans? Any guesses as to what a German accent and a 1950s setting could mean? Let us know in the comments below.
