January is notoriously known for bland movie releases to fill the void between the awards show runs and nominations and the start of the busier film months. That said, this weekend has some of the most exciting releases of the month and maybe the year. So let's take a look at some trailers for films coming out this weekend including Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit, Devil's Due, Ride Along and, last but not least, The Nut Job!

Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit will hopefully be the first of many films in the rebooted movie franchise based on the Tom Clancy character. With actors like Harrison Ford, Ben Affleck and Alec Baldwin previously playing the title character in a number of films, this time around we get Star Trek alum Chris Pine in the lead. This is a bit of an origin story (because we love those) and costars Kevin Costner, Keira knightly, and Kenneth Branagh, who also directed the movie.

One of the biggest horror films of 2014 comes out this weekend, and considering the creative viral marketing campaign, plenty of people are excited about Devil's Due. This is a found-footage horror movie based around a pregnancy. Think Rosemary's Baby mixed with The Last Exorcism.

A highly anticipated comedy for 2014 comes out this weekend in the form of Ride Along. Kevin Hart and Ice Cube star as an unlikely duo in what is sure to garner plenty of laughs.
