Demi Lovato Shot Down Rumors About One Direction's Niall Horan

It has been rumored that Demi Lovato and Niall Horan of One Direction have skyped each other and may be secretly dating. However, Lovato herself shot down the rumor in her recent interview and said that they are not dating.

Jokingly she told B104 Radio, "I don't even know who One Direction is ... it's so crazy. I'm kidding. No, Niall's a friend of mine. I do know who he is and everyone knows who One Direction is."

"But, yeah, we're just friends, and he's awesome," Lovato says.

Horan's fellow singers in One Direction seemed to suggest that he's got the hots for Lovato on a Canadian tv show called "etalk." The boys were challenged to a game of "Rapid Fire Romance" on the show, where photos of female celebrities were displayed in front of the band, and they'd have to pick which bandmate best matches the celebrity. When Lovato's photo came up, there was no hesitation as to which bandmate would match. Louis Tomlinson said, "Naill. 100 Percent." Another bandmate, Harry Styles, jokingly continued, "Naill dreams dirty things."

Now that Lovato herself stepped up to end the rumors, that doesn't mean there will not be a future for the two successful teenage heartthrobs.
