Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is in the midst of Season 1, and a recent episode featured the revelation that Skye (Chloe Bennet) is actually an 0-8-4, which is S.H.I.E.L.D. code for "object of unknown origin." But does Skye know the entire truth?

Agent Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) disclosed the truth to Skye, including the news that an entire group of agents had been killed in order to protect the truth about her origins. But we never actually saw the conversation on screen, and all we know for sure is that whatever Coulson said made Skye cry.

Luckily, the "Mega Buzz" column at TV Guide is here to clear things up for us:

"Does Skye know she's an 0-8-4 on Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.-Dan
Yes! Chloe Bennet tells me that Coulson told Skye the truth about her parents' deaths and her potential to have special powers. But don't fit her for a cape yet. 'I have no birth certificate,' she reminds me. 'I could still be a human. I could be something else.' Get ready for a very dark episode that deals with the fallout from the ultimate reveal."

The revelation added a much needed and intriguing twist to Skye's character. She has been shrouded in mystery since the start of the show, but the fact that she could have powers of some sort was a curveball that pushed the show forward more in one episode than it had moved in much of the first half of its freshman run.

What do you think Skye's power could be (we're betting super-intelligence)? Let us know in the comments below.
