The similarities between Aaron Paul's character Jesse Pinkman from AMC's Breaking Bad and The Dark Tower's Eddie Dean are pretty evident, so there's no surprise fans are hoping the Need for Speed actor will join the new Ron Howard film. In fact, Paul took notice to the casting hopes from fans and posted on his Twitter account that Dean is definitely a character he'd be interested to play. Plus it looks like dreams do come true, because Paul revealed that he's been meeting with Howard and discussing the film adaptation of the Stephen King novel!

Here is the Twitter post from Paul that proved to fans that he listens to their hopes for his movie roles and that he was interested in the role of Eddie Dean:

After this exciting post, he told his followers of the Stephen King novel and how they should all familiarize themselves with it:

Then he sat down for an interview with AICN and broke the news that he and Howard have been talking about the film and the role.

"I've had a ton of meetings on that," he explained. "I just had a general sit down with Ron Howard, who is a huge fan of the show [Breaking Bad], which is such a crazy thing to even think that Ron Howard even knows who I am. They're definitely planning on making it."

Though this isn't a confirmation for the role, it is still a great start for getting the film made with a great actor who is interested in the role. Other actors interested in the film include Russel Crowe (who is actually signed on for the role of Roland Deschain) and Liam Neeson (who is interested in Crowe's role).
