Earlier this week, NBC treated us to the first trailer for the second season of Bryan Fuller's series Hannibal. In 2013, the show was hanging by a thread to make it into its second season, but the network believed in the dark, twisted series about one of the most infamous cannibal serial killers in popular culture. That said, season two looks insane compared to the jaw-dropping season one episodes. Check out the firs trailer for the 2014 episodes of Hannibal, which is sure to tease some huge spoilers for fans of the show. (SPOILERS to follow)

By now, fans have already been won over by Mads Mikkelsen's take on the iconic character, so to say that viewers will enjoy this trailer is an understatement. Yes, Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) was falsely imprisoned at the end of season one, leaving Lecter free of suspicion to go on killing and eating. But how long will that last?

As we can see in the following trailer for season two of Hannibal: not long at all! But not in a "getting caught" way. He basically just lets his freak flag fly at the end of this new preview.
