Bryan Singer helms the highly anticipated superhero sequel X-Men: Days of Future Past, which hits theaters in May. So far, the only real footage shown from the film came from the first official trailer in October. Now, Fox has released another brief clip to keep fans' interest.

Fox said via Empire that it would provide some major revelations next week, but released this short Instagram video until then:

The main characters got plenty of face time here. We've got clear shots of Michael Fassbender as Young Magneto in a different helmet design, James McAvoy as young Professor Charles Xavier, and Jennifer Lawrence as young Mystique. As for the present-day X-Men, we have Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) drowning in...something, Magneto (Ian McKellen) and Iceman (Shawn Ashmore) with a full beard from the same shot as the trailer. We also see Quicksilver (Evan Peters) shattering some glass. Finally, we have Warpath, Blink and Sunspot standing together underground in what appears to be the future.

The movie boasts a rich cast, including Jennifer Lawrence as Young Mystique, Michael Fassbender as Young Magneto, James McAvoy as Young Charles Xavier, Nicholas Hoult as Young Beast, Patrick Stewart as Charles Xavier, Ian McKellen as Magneto, Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Anna Paquin as Rogue, Ellen Page as Kitty Pryde, Shawn Ashmore as Iceman, Halle Berry as Storm, Lucas Till as Havok, Daniel Cudmore as Colossus, Peter Dinklage as Bolivar Trask, Omar Sy as Bishop, Boo Boo Stewart as Warpath, Fan Bingbing as Blink, Evan Peters as Quicksilver, Adan Canto as Sunspot, Josh Helman as William Stryker and possibly James Marsden as Cyclops.

X-Men: Days of Future Past is scheduled for release on May 23, 2014.
