If you have two ears and a heart, you may want to brace yourself now. Phil Collins and Adele are teaming up to turn you into a hot mess sometime in the near future.

Collins revealed that he is working with the 21 singer in an interview with Inside South Florida.

"She contacted me to write together," Collins told host Dave Aizer. "I wasn't actually too aware [of her]; I live in a cave. But she's achieved an incredible amount, and I really love her voice, and I love some of the stuff that she's done."

You can add Collins to the list of strange collaborators like Madonna and Wiz Khalifa. Collins doesn't specify if the songs will be for Adele's 21 follow-up or another project.

The British singer is currently on lockdown to produce a sequel to Amazon's top-selling album of all time.
