The marketing campaign for Bryan Singer's highly anticipated superhero movie X-Men: Days of Future Past is ramping up, as the film is the subject of 25 new Empire magazine covers, each of which shows off a different character.

Empire has been steadily revealing the covers beginning on Monday, and here are the ones released thus far:

-       1973 Sentinel

-       Bolivar Trask (Peter Dinklage)

-       Young Toad (Evan Jonigkeit)

-       Young William Stryker (Josh Helman)

-       Havok (Lucas Till)

-       Young Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence)

-       Young Beast (Nicholas Hoult)

-       Quicksilver (Evan Peters)

-       Young Magneto (Michael Fassbender)

-       Blink (Bingbing Fan)

-       Young Charles Xavier (James McAvoy)

-       Wolverine (Hugh Jackman)

-       Director Bryan Singer

-       Magneto (Ian McKellen)

-       Future Wolverine (with adamantium claws) (Hugh Jackman)

-       Storm (Halle Berry)

-       Rogue (Anna Paquin)

-       Charles Xavier (Patrick Stewart)

-       Warpath (Booboo Stewart)

-       Kitty Pryde (Ellen Page)

-       Sunspot (Adam Canto)

-       Future Sentinel

-       Colossus (Daniel Cudmore)

-       Iceman (Shawn Ashmore)

-       Bishop (Omar Sy)

The plot of the film has Wolverine going back in time (via the projection of his mind into his 1970s body) in order to stop a series of events that lead to a cataclysm for mutants in the near future. Presumably, this series of events involves Bolivar Trask's creation of the Sentinels, robots designed to hunt down and exterminate mutants.
