Matt Hardy arrested, ex-WWE champ's bloody fight with wife Reby Sky ends in assault/battery jail time, listen to motel's 911 call [MUGSHOT PHOTOS]

Earlier this month, former WWE champion Matt Hardy was arrested for getting into a physical altercation with his 27-year-old wife, Reby Sky. Both wrestlers were found bloody and beaten once police responded to the call at a motel in Virginia on New Year's Day.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ Sports that cops were called around 5:45 am on January 1, 2014. The hotel staffer tells the operator, "A guest just came down here and said somebody's beating the hell out of his wife a girl or something." Check it out:

Hardy and Sky were ultimately arrested and booked on assault and battery. They were both shortly released on $3,500 bail.

Although they got restraining orders against one another, it looks like they're still a "happy" couple...

This is NOT Hardy's first run-in with the law... he's been arrested several times before (usually having to deal with alcohol).
