Thanks to a recent "Ask Me Anything" session on Reddit with Jerry Seinfeld, we learned that the comedian and his former writing partner, Larry David, were teaming up on a project in the near future. That turned out to be a Broadway play. But it also looks like some sort of a Seinfeld reunion is on the ways according to a new interview with Jerry Seinfeld.

A recent spotting of Jason Alexander (the actor that portrayed George on the hit comedy) at the infamous Tom's Restaurant had many speculating about a possible Super Bowl commercial or some other form of a reunion. But that is not the case, Seinfeld recently revealed.

While making a radio appearance this week with Boomer & Carlton on WFAN, Seinfeld broke the news. Variety reports:

Seinfeld said the project was not a commercial, or an episode of his hit web series "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee," and while he would not give away much in the way of details, he did say that Alexander was playing his George Costanza character and that other "Seinfeld" characters were involved. He described the project as "short-ish form," a "one-and-done" thing involving Larry David in some way that will be made available "very, very soon."

What kind of short-form reunion do you think will happen with the cast of the popular comedy? If it's not for his show or a commercial, what else could it possibly be? Let us know what you think of this Seinfeld reunion news in the comments section below!
