Country Star Billy Ray Cyrus "Chicago" Broadway Debut

Country singer and father of pop star Miley Cyrus, Billy Ray Cyrus, will join the cast of "Chicago."  He will play the role of Billy Flynn, the slick criminal lawyer hired by the lead character Roxie Hart on a murder case.  The Tony-winning broadway show is now in its 16th year and Cyrus will join the cast for 7 weeks starting from November 5 through December 23.
 
Cyrus has acted in the Disney Channel TV series "Hannah Montana" as the father of the lead character played by Miley Cyrus, his real-life daughter. 

Cyrus has made his mark in country music with over 25 million albums sold international and 11 studio albums released since 1991.  Cyrus is currently working on an upcoming album "Change My Mind" set to release later this year.

Others to join the Chicago cast include Usher, Huey Lewis, Michael C. Hall, Sofia Vergara, Melanie Griffith, Brooke Shields, Ashlee Simpson, and Jerry Springer.
