ASCAP pre-grammys brunch: Ne-yo talks about kids Maddie and Mason and new album!

The ASCAP Pre-grammys Brunch was one to remember, as many of your favorite music artists and song writers gathered to celebrate the Grammys. One in the crowd last Saturday was R&B singer, producer Ne-yo.

When Ne-yo was asked if he feels like his kids would grow up to sing like him Ne-yo replied: "I have two children Maddie 3, Mason 2...they sing everything, everything is a song. We are working on potty training...so there is a potty song, time to eat song, a time to go to sleep song, everything is a d*** song. It was cute at first, but now it's getting annoying, but it's all good, it means that maybe one of them will be able to take care of me when I get old and grey."

Although Ne-yo did not perform this year at the Grammys he did say that he was looking forward to all the performances, and that he was going to set back and enjoy the show.

The singer and producer is currently working on a new album. "Putting it together right now, it is predominately R&B, I had to go back to my roots on this one. Be looking forward to it towards the middle of the year."
