Super Bowl Gospel Celebration brings together Grammy winning performers and football all on one stage

The 15th annual Super Bowl Gospel Celebration was held this weekend at the Theater at Madison Square Garden. Friday night was filled with music, praise and emotional performances.

The huge event was sponsored by American Family Insurance (AFI ) and was hosted by television show host Wendy Williams, and Extra TV correspondent AJ Calloway. Appearances were made by NFL players and other notable and special guest, who were all on one stage to celebrate faith, gospel music, and football.

Performances included, Grammy award winning Motown gospel artist, Tasha Cobbs, and the AFI "Your Dream is Out There" gospel contest winners, Kristen Jamison and Valaree Wright-Pate. Grammy nominated christian contemporary singer, Natalie Grant also performed, as well as Grammy award winning contemporary gospel duo, Mary Mary.

Football and music was brought together on stage when choir director, Myron Butler, and the 40-member NFL Players Choir performed.
