A Discreet Birthday Celebration in Sydney for Actress Nicole Kidman

Country music singer Keith Urban gave his wife, Nicole Kidman, a low-key birthday treat in Sydney, Australia.

Australian actress Nicole Kidman, who turned 45 years old last June 20, may be a famous Hollywood movie star but she only goes for a simple celebration with family especially on her birthday. The Academy Award-winning actress had dinner last night with her husband and family at a fine Greek-Australian restaurant.

The family night out celebration also came after the announcement of Keith Urban's act, Darren Percival, being the runner-up in the grand finale of the hit TV reality show "The Voice Australia."

During last week's interview with the country singer, Urban gave his wife credit for convincing him to sign on with the reality show.

"It wasn't so much that she talked me around. It was more her saying, 'let's see if we can make the schedule work' because she loved the US version. Well, she is the good voice of reason. Put it this way, I probably wouldn't need to be talked around to do it again. I'd love to do it again," Urban told the Herald Sun.

Kidman's birthday celebration is just one of the several gatherings in the family household. The couple also celebrates their wedding anniversary together and they have been happily married for six years now. Sunday Rose, the couple's eldest daughter, will celebrate her 4th birthday on July 7. Faith is their second daughter and she is 18-months old. Meanwhile, Kidman never forgets the responsibility she took from her previous marriage with actor Tom Cruise when they decided to adopt kids. She is still a mother to son Connor and daughter Isabella.

Kidman looked really young despite her age as she graciously waved at the other people who were also dining at the restaurant. With a temperature dropping down low, it is no surprise that the actress would sport a look that wrapped her up warmly. She was seen wearing a brown coat and a scarf. Her parents, Dr. Anthony and Janelle Kidman, were also present with Nicole and Keith at dinner. Afterwards, the couple drove home to be with their two kids at Milsons Point.
