It's a girl! Kevin and Danielle Jonas welcome their baby; Alena Rose

The Jonas family makes three!! Kevin and Danielle Jonas welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Alena Rose on Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 2.

According to People, The Married to Jonas stars made a statement to E! News announcing their excitement and joy, of the birth of their daughter.

 "We are overjoyed at the birth of Alena Rose Jonas."

"She is precious! We could not be more excited to start building our family together. We want to thank our family and friends for their love and support, and our fans for all of their well wishes."

After a few hiccups along the way, with false contractions, Kevin 26 announced that his daughter was finally ready to make her debut this weekend. The new father posted a photo of the hospital monitor with the hashtag #thisisnotadrill and later tweeting to his followers that his wife, Danielle started to push.

The proud parents have been sharing their experience of pregnancy with their fans, by posting to social media.

Kevin recently said in an article with Fit Pregnancy, "So many celebrities hide that they're pregnant for a long time and keep everything so quiet. Why? It's such a joyful time, we're telling the world and we want to be able to rejoice!"
