PREPARE YOUR HEARTSTRINGS.
Kings of sadsack pop The Cure are all set to drop a new album in the coming months. 4:14 Scream will serve as a sequel to their last album, 2008's 4:13 Dream.
According to The Guardian, the new album was recorded at the same time as 4:13 Dream. The Cure announced the new album in celebration of their sold-out cancer benefit gigs for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
The band also hinted at an upcoming live DVD and more Trilogy shows (in which the band plays three full-album sets). Word is that they'll follow up their 2011 trilogy with The Top, The Head On The Door and Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me.
