Previously, it was reported in Rolling Stone that Laura Prepon would only appear in four out of 13 episodes in the new season of Orange Is the New Black. Apparently now the show's producers are giving her more screen time, and the show's creator Jenji Kohan says she will be in most of the next season.

"Yes, yes, she is coming back," Jenji Kohan told Us Weekly at the Writer's Guild Awards over the weekend. "Not the whole season, but. . . you'll see her for most of it."

In the first season of the Netflix show about the happenings at a women's correctional facility, the plot focused on Piper Kerman (actress Taylor Schilling). For the second season, Kohan told TV Guide in October that the whole cast would be featured more fully. "It's becoming much more of an ensemble," Kohan said. "As much as I love Piper and Taylor and her journey, I think people are interested in everybody's journey."

The show's creator said that in the forthcoming season, more of the inmates' back stories would be explored, and if the show continues on for a third season, a closer look at some of the prison guards would be examined as well.

Not only is the That '70s Show star set for a pretty prominent role in the second season, it's been said that she's also already negotiating a contract for the presumed third season, should it continue. It would make sense that her character would be integral, at least in the second season, as she played the role of Piper's former girlfriend and was responsible for getting her in jail in the first place after convincing her to start drug trafficking.

We'll see how it all plays out.
