Actor and singer, David Cassidy charged with DUI again; will the star go to jail this time?

Actor and singer, David Cassidy has just been booked and charged with one count of a DUI from alcohol. According to TMZ, the L.A. City Attorney's office charged the star for the Jan. 10th arrest when police reported he made an illegal right turn. Alcohol was on the 63-year-olds breath, and he also failed a field sobriety test. 

The former teen star was more than twice the legal limit, and he also refused to take more testing while at the police station. The Patridge Family member is no stranger to DUI convictions. He has two prior DUI's in New York and Florida. The gossip site reports that an attorney notes that with an record like his, the Cassidy is looking to serve a mandatory 96 hours in jail if convicted, and he could possibly serve a year in jail.

CBS6Albany reported that a lawyer representing the teen star was in Rensselaer County Court last Friday Jan. 31 for Cassidy's charges for driving drunk last August. The judge decided to hold another conference for this issue until March.
