News broke several days ago that Jesse Eisenberg would play Lex Luthor in Zack Snyder's untitled Man of Steel sequel, known commonly as Batman vs. Superman. A new report indicates that the next take on the Lex Luthor character could be somewhat different from previous incarnations.

Latino-Review has posted a lengthy article that claims to be chock full of spoilers on the character and his role in the movie. As always, none of this is official, and take it all with a grain of salt:

-       Lex Luthor has a shaved head, so he is bald as usual. But this time, he is into body art and has a tattoo of the Metropolis skyline on his right arm.

-       He is the richest man on the planet who became a self-made billionaire at age 18. He is the CEO of Lexcorp and will be "one part tech genius, one part ruthless businessman and two parts Metropolis street tough." He was living on the streets at age 14 and joined a street gang to survive and took over the gang by age 15. His resolve and intellect is what gets him ahead, not his strength.

-       Lex appears early in the movie when Bruce Wayne visits him in his Lexcorp penthouse, where he is watching Superman on monitors. The two have a history and don't like each other, as Lex thinks of himself as self-made while Bruce was born into it.

-       Superman impresses Bruce, but Lex thinks he is a dangerous alien.

-       Bruce wants to put their differences aside and pool resources with Lex to rebuild Metropolis (presumably in the wake of the events of the first movie).

-       Lex thinks Wayne Enterprises is powerful but not enough to challenge him in Metropolis. He still thinks he can use the company for a few things and says his secretary will send details to Bruce.

-       Lex thinks Superman can die, but Bruce wants a more peaceful solution, specifically one that doesn't involve fighting someone with godlike power. Lex has no intention of fighting him head-to-head, and has someone in mind for the task: Batman.
