A little under two years ago many of you would have uttered "Who?" if someone had told you that Russell Wilson would win the 2014 Super Bowl, but now you can barely turn the page of a magazine or change the channel on the television without seeing his face. People are quick to slate celebrities for their short cuts or their wrong doings, but it's refreshing to see somebody rewarded after so much hard work, determination and after being written off.

You know you've made it and are heavily respected when you've been positively mentioned in an Eminem song. In Eminem's hit 2013 single "The Monster" featuring Rihanna, he finishes the last verse with the motivational line "It's payback, Russell Wilson, falling way back in the draft, turn nothing into something, still can make that straw into gold chump." If somebody had told Russell Wilson he'd be getting regular minutes in the NFL before he was drafted he'd of been happy, yet even in his wildest dreams he wouldn't of imagined winning the Super Bowl in his second season and being featured in one of Eminem's best ever songs.

With Russell Wilson now the face of the NFL, what's next for him? A few more Super Bowl wins, the cover of plenty more magazines or will he he opt to use his baseball connection and change sports in the coming years? Young, respected and famous for all the right reasons, it's clear to all that Wilson is a name we'll remember for years to come.
